Official Baldwin County Jail Roster
The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office routes public jail searches through its Arrest Search page. That official page links to Southern Software Citizen Connect, where the public can search current confinements, 24-hour admits, 7-day admits, date-range admits and releases, names, charges, and arresting agencies. The Citizen Connect header identifies Baldwin Co Sheriffs Office and Sheriff Anthony E. Lowery.
The sheriff's disclaimer matters. The Corrections Center says the online information is collected and maintained for public convenience but cannot be certified for accuracy or authenticity. Treat the roster as a starting record, not a certified court docket. For bond amounts and charges, the Docket Room can be reached through Corrections at (251) 937-0202.
The official roster search page is shown in the manifest screenshot below, sourced from Southern Software Citizen Connect. It displays the tabbed search modes that make Baldwin County records more specific than a single name box.
The image also shows why date and agency searches can be useful. A person arrested by Foley PD, Daphne PD, U.S. Marshals, or ICE may need a different route if the county jail record is not visible.
Use the Baldwin County Roster
Start with the official sheriff link instead of a search-engine result. Unofficial arrest pages can be stale, incomplete, or commercial. The county route passes through the sheriff's warning first, then opens the roster vendor used for current confinement records.
- Open the Baldwin County Sheriff's Arrest Search page.
- Choose the current-inmate or 24-hour booking link.
- Use Current Confinements if the person should be in custody now.
- Use admits or releases by date when the arrest or release date is known.
- Search by name, charge, or arresting agency if the list is broad.
- Open View Full Details and compare name, date of birth, booking date, agency, and charges.
- If the record is missing or incomplete, call Corrections/Docket or use the open-records request route from the sheriff's corrections contact page.
Baldwin County Search Fields
The Baldwin County roster has several search routes. Date ranges should be kept narrow if the portal rejects a query, because the page includes a limit warning. Agency filtering is useful in Baldwin County because the dropdown includes municipal departments, state agencies, FBI, U.S. Marshals, ICE, and INS Service.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Current Confinements | Tab/button | No | Runs the current inmate list and includes 24-hour and 7-day admit buttons. |
| Admits by Date Range | Tab | No | Searches bookings by date range. |
| Releases by Date Range | Tab | No | Useful when a person has left custody. |
| First, Middle, Last Name | Text | No | Use known spellings, then compare DOB and agency. |
| Charge | Text | No | Supports offense searches such as DUI or Failure to Appear. |
| Arresting Agency | Dropdown | No | Includes Baldwin County SO, city police, state agencies, U.S. Marshals, ICE, and others. |
Baldwin County Booking Detail
A public booking detail inspected from Citizen Connect used a BookingID URL and displayed a card with the person's name, mugshot area, demographics, date of birth, booked date, arresting agency, arrest date and time, and charges. Bond, housing location, court date, warrant number, statute code, and detailed physical description did not appear in the inspected sample.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Full Name | Uppercase public name header. |
| Booking Photo | Image if available; fallback image can appear for missing or broken photos. |
| Demographics | Age, race code, and sex code. |
| Date of Birth | MM/DD/YYYY, useful for confirming identity. |
| Booked | Date the person entered the booking system. |
| Arresting Agency | Agency name and code. |
| Arrest Date/Time | Date and time of arrest, which can differ from booked date. |
| Charges | Charge count and charge descriptions, without final court disposition. |
County, State, Federal Records
Use the county roster for pre-trial county jail custody and recent bookings. Use ADOC inmate search after a person is sentenced to Alabama prison. ADOC searches by AIS number, first name, or last name, and it states that AIS number overrides name searches. Use BOP for federal sentenced custody and ICE ODLS for immigration detention.
| Custody | Where to Look | Important Limit |
|---|---|---|
| County jail | Sheriff's Citizen Connect roster | Not certified and may omit bond or court dates. |
| Municipal jail | Daphne, Foley, or Orange Beach police/corrections | May not appear in the county roster before transfer. |
| State prison | Alabama Department of Corrections locator | Current incarceration only; no online historical data. |
| Federal | BOP locator or federal/USMS channels | USMS pretrial custody is not always in BOP. |
| Immigration | ICE ODLS and county roster agency filter | County holds and ICE detention are separate statuses. |

Baldwin County Booking Process
At the sheriff's jail, Intake handles intake and release, the Docket Room, classification, transport, and court liaison. The roster may show both arrest date and booked date because transport, paperwork, and booking are separate steps. Property is stored and accounted for, then returned, mailed, or transferred under jail rules.
Classification is the internal process that assigns housing and services based on safety, medical, and security factors. The inspected Baldwin County public record did not show housing unit, which is a normal security-conscious omission. Court information is given to inmates when available, but the sheriff's page recommends contacting the attorney when court information is not known to the center.
Baldwin County Visitation Rules
Public video visitation at the sheriff's jail uses ICSolutions. Visits are scheduled at least 24 hours in advance and up to one week in advance. Visitors need a valid state-issued driver license or ID, must be approved, and may sign in up to 15 minutes before the visit. If the visitor is not logged in within 10 minutes of the start time, the visit is canceled without refund.
| Facility | Schedule / Type | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Baldwin County Sheriff's Corrections Center | Monday through Friday listed video slots | ICSolutions, two visits per week on separate days. |
| Daphne Corrections Center | Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. | Video only through NCIC after approval. |
| Orange Beach City Jail | Sunday and Wednesday 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. | NCIC account, photo ID, search, and dress rules. |
| Loxley ADOC | Contact facility | ADOC page says to call for visitation hours and information. |
Mail, Phone, and Funds
For the sheriff's jail, non-legal mail uses the Baldwin County Jail, AL scanning address in Highland Heights, Kentucky, beginning September 1, 2025. Legal mail goes to Baldwin County Jail, 200 Hand Avenue, Bay Minette, AL 36507. Mail must include the inmate name and inmate ID, and noncompliant mail can be destroyed rather than returned.
Phone and video services use ICSolutions. Trust-account deposits can be made through the kiosk in the Public Docket Lobby or online through team3.inmatecanteen.com. Tablet funds are separate from inmate trust-account funds, and attorney emails sent through tablet services are not privileged.
Note: Confirm custody before sending money, because municipal, county, ADOC, federal, and ICE systems use different accounts.
Baldwin County Roster Gaps
Several common search failures have local explanations. Daphne may still be holding a misdemeanor arrestee or front-cell arrestee before county transfer. Foley may have processed a Foley, Elberta, or Summerdale arrest before the person moved to the sheriff's jail. Orange Beach can hold misdemeanor prisoners up to one year, so an Orange Beach municipal case may not start on the county roster. A sentenced state prisoner should move to ADOC search, while a federal defendant may be in U.S. Marshals contract custody before BOP has a public locator result.
VINELink is useful when the need is notification rather than a one-time lookup. The Alabama VINELink portal can be searched for custody-notification registration, while the sheriff's roster remains the local booking source. No official Baldwin sheriff or police app-only inmate roster was found in the research. ICS Mobile is relevant to visitation scheduling and account use, not jail record lookup.
